Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard or abbreviated as QRIS (pronounced KRIS) is the unification of various QRs from various Payment System Service Providers (PJSP) using QR Code. With QRIS that has been standardised by Bank Indonesia & the Indonesian Payment System Association, all payments from Bank and Non-Bank Applications can be transacted easily, quickly and securely.

QRIS that has been standardised, can then be used in various types of payments such as purchases at merchants, shops, stalls, traders, tourist attractions, places of worship, even now QRIS has been used in transportation payments such as public transportation, taxis, speedboats to parking services.

QRIS Merchant Presented Mode (MPM)

QRIS MPM Statis

QRIS Merchant Presented Mode (MPM) Statis is a QR code that can be printed in the form of a Sticker or Tent Card, and the QR is Open Payment so that it can be used for continuous transactions with different nominal values.

Mechanism

In the QRIS MPM Static method, where the merchant or trader is passive, and the customer or buyer is active. Merchants or merchants only need to show the QR code to the customer or buyer, then the customer or buyer actively scans the QR code shown by the merchant or merchant, and enters the transaction amount.

Example of QRIS MPM Static API Usage

QRIS Merchant Presented Mode (MPM) Static is suitable for merchants or traders with micro to retail businesses, because merchants are not required to invest in payment instruments (such as EDC). Merchants or traders only need to print the QR code and then can receive payments from the public using any Bank / Non-Bank Application by scanning or scanning, entering the transaction amount, entering the PIN and clicking pay.

In the Static MPM QRIS API mechanism, merchants who have been registered as BRI QRIS merchants and already have a QR code, then through the API are integrated with Third Party Applications or Platforms, so that the QR code that is already owned will appear and be read on the Third Party Application or Platform.

The BRI QRIS merchant who already has a QR code then binds by logging in using the username and password that has been sent to the Mobile Number previously registered when becoming a BRI QRIS merchant. Furthermore, when successfully logging in, the QR code owned by the merchant will automatically appear on the Third Party Application or Platform and can then receive transaction payments.

QRIS MPM Dinamis

QRIS Merchant Presented Mode (MPM) Dynamic is a QR code that is generated or issued from a device (such as an EDC machine), and the QR is Close Payment, where each generated QR code already contains the transaction nominal, and the QR code can only be used for one (1) transaction. So, every time the merchant receives a transaction from a customer or customer, the merchant needs to generate a new QR code.

Mechanism

In the Dynamic QRIS MPM method, where both merchants and customers are active when making transactions. The merchant actively generates QR that already contains the transaction nominal, then the customer actively scans the QR code issued from the merchant's device.

Example of QRIS MPM Dynamic API Usage

Dynamic QRIS Merchant Presented Mode (MPM) is suitable for medium and large scale merchants or with high transaction volumes. With Dynamic QRIS MPM, merchants generate a QR code that already contains the transaction nominal, then print the QRIS code, then the customer can scan the QR code to make a payment. In addition to transaction payments, BRI also provides API notification features for payments using dynamic QRIS MPM.

QRIS MPM Statis

QRIS Customer Presented Mode (CPM) Dynamic is a QR code generated or issued by a user/customer's device (such as a smartphone). This QR code is dynamic, where each customer will have a different QR code for a limited time period. The QR code can be scanned by a merchant's scanning device, and it facilitates financial transactions from the user's account to the merchant's account based on their agreement.

Mechanism

In the QRIS CPM Dynamic method, both the merchant and the customer are active during the transaction. The customer actively generates the QR code through their device, and then the merchant actively scans the QR code issued from the merchant's device using a scanning device.

Example of QRIS MPM Static API Usage

API QRIS Customer Presented Mode (CPM) Dynamic is well-suited for medium and large-scale merchants or those with high transaction volumes. With QRIS CPM Dynamic, the merchant enters the transaction amount, prepares a scanning device, and the customer can generate or issue a QR code for making payments by showing the QR code to the merchant's scanner device.
